International comparison of glycaemic control in people with type 1 diabetes: an update and extension. Diabet Med. 2022 May;39(5):e14766.

Data between 2016 and 2020 of N=520,392 PWDs from 17 national or regional population-based registers were analysed: compared to an earlier analysis (20210-2012), the proportion of people with an HbA1c < 58 mmol/l (<7.5%) increased and proportions of people with HbA1c≥ 75 mmol/mol (≥9.0%) decreased.

Cross-sectional record review study among people with T1D (PWDs) from Diabeter and the UMCG with and without cardiovascular disease (CVD), assessing the proportion of people achieving target values of HbA1c, LDL-c and blood pressure. PWDs with CVD are at a greater risk for not achieving lipid and blood pressure targets.
