The incidence of type 1 diabetes is still increasing in the Netherlands, but has stabilised in children under five (Young DUDEs-1). Acta Pediatr. 2015;104:626-9.

This retrospective study used health insurance registry and insulin prescription data to determine the incidence and prevalence of type 1 diabetes among children aged 14 years or younger in the Netherlands.
